Phi Delta Chi's Leader-Development Seminar (LDS) began at the 1989 Grand Council in Monterey, California. LDS is a non-fraternal, learning experience to develop life-long leadership skills. LDS began meeting as a stand alone conference in 1990 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. LDS continues to this day meeting every other year on the even year.
This year's 17th Leader-Development Seminar (LDS) took place in Virginia Beach, Virginia on August 1-4, 2018. The Beta Lambda Chapter was awarded second place for the Annual Chapter Publication Award as well as a 100% Achievement Award. The chapter is honored to receive such honorable awards and we look forward to progressing further as a chapter each and every year.
